Took many tries at this, and this is what i settled on. it would have looked alot better, but guess what, half way through when i downsized the 3500x5000psd to a mere 1200 and saved it so i had a smaller version, when i exited the window i hit save accidentally and it overwrote my main, oversampling, psd.

So I changed the theme and decided to end the planets life. The bad guy's bust up the moon first so no high-hopers can escape and to show the people in the night city what is about to happen to them.

Farewell Sephiron, may your cheap grainy clouds never bother me again.

Your really starting to improve, next try and add more detail to your planets, maybe try an urban planet, vary it a bit, add some clouds to the planet, instead of using the texture to act as cloud cover. There are lots of great tuts here on dA that can lead you ina great direction, but you are really improving! Great work mate! :D
